Famous Grammy award-winning musician, songwriter, and performer Burna Boy has set a new record for African music on the digital streaming platform Spotify as he became the Fastest African artist to hit 600 million streams with the album ‘Love Damini.’
‘Love Damini’ became the most rapid African album to hit and surpass 600 million streams on Spotify after its release in July 2022. This was achieved in less than a year of the release of the album that contained some of the major songs in the continent today.
Some of which comprise of: ‘Common person,’ ‘Last Last,’ ‘It’s Plenty’ and so on.
