The order from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the immediate arrest of Seun Kuti has stunned and aroused a reaction from musician Orezi
Seun Kuti, a well-known singer and political activist, was captured on camera yesterday, May 14, in the late hours of the day, beating a police officer on the streets of Lagos.
Seun Kuti was arrested for assaulting a law enforcement officer after the viral video was requested by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Baba Usman Alkali.
Singer Orezi reacted to the event by expressing horror at the IGP’s fast response.
He compared cases where police officers assaulted innocent people and got away with it without being punished or IGP prosecutions.
