A group of young footballers from Abu Salami’s academy has appealed to Davido to reimburse a significant sum of money owed to their employer
The ongoing dispute between the renowned Nigerian singer Davido and entrepreneur Abu Salami has entered a new phase, as youngsters associated with their football academy express their desire to meet the music star.
Recall that Abu Salami accused Davido of being indebted to him with a sum of N218 million, relating to an unfinished project for which he had been paid.
In a subsequent development, numerous aspiring football players from Abu Salami’s academy have implored Davido to reimburse the substantial amount to their boss.
They have also disclosed the challenging circumstances they are facing, noting that due to financial constraints, they often resort to consuming garri after their morning training sessions.
The youngsters emphasized that Davido’s failure to refund the funds has negatively impacted their aspirations and ambitions.
Expanding on their plea, the young players urged Davido to introduce his recently born twins and wife, Chioma, to them.
They beseeched him to consider their hardships and settle the debt, as they require the money to support their own families.
