Nigerian Entertainment News: VeryDarkMan Commends Tonto Dikeh’s Spiritual Shift, Requests Mercy Amid Ongoing Legal Dispute
Martins Vincent Otse, the self-described online critic widely known as VDM, has reacted to a circulating clip of Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh praying in tongues
The film actress and businesswoman recently disclosed on her social platforms that she has given her life to Christ. She later uploaded a video of herself praying as a way to usher in the new month.
VDM expressed astonishment at Tonto Dikeh’s renewed spiritual direction, explaining that he suspected a transformation when she decided to take out her BBL. He referred to her as “prophetess” and “mummy,” while extending his goodwill messages to her.
In his recording, VDM made a heartfelt request concerning their pending court matter. He hinted that since Tonto Dikeh has embraced a divine calling, she might consider dropping the case, reminding her that God encourages forgiveness.
He added that he was expected in court the next day and referenced Matthew 7:7 to highlight the scriptural message about asking and receiving. VDM also prayed that Tonto Dikeh’s heart would be touched to pardon him—even mimicking her style of praying in tongues.
This is not VDM’s first clash with Nollywood personalities. Last year, after making remarks about a WhatsApp group that included Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, he became the subject of a defamation lawsuit jointly filed by the actresses and music producer Samklef.
