Nigerian Entertainment News: Uche Maduagwu Alleges Davido Gave Chioma a Leased G-Wagon for Her Birthday
Popular Nollywood actor and social media critic, Uche Maduagwu, has stirred controversy online after accusing award-winning singer Davido of presenting his wife, Chioma Adeleke, also known as Chef Chi, with a hired G-Wagon instead of a new one for her birthday
According to trending reports, one of the most talked-about highlights of Chioma’s 30th birthday bash in Atlanta, USA, was the lavish surprise from Davido — a black G-Wagon, reportedly valued at over N400 million.
Footage from the party showed Chioma visibly thrilled as the vehicle was unveiled, while friends and family admired the luxurious automobile.
However, Maduagwu took to his social media platform to express skepticism. In a video post, he questioned the authenticity of the gift, claiming it might not be a brand-new car and suggesting that it could be a rented ride. He further reproached Davido for not channeling the massive funds toward boosting Chioma’s culinary profession instead of splurging on a flashy vehicle.
“I love Davido and my Chiom Chiom, but if this information is true, then it’s so WRONG Baba. I mean, OGA Davido, you are a Billionaire Na, which one be all this? Anyways, in the #video above, Davido NEVER said the Mercedes Car was BRAND New or Rented, we only saw him presenting her the car, maybe the original car gift still Dey for road. That car, a brand new one, is worth more than 400 Million Naira, Abeg, do you know how many Restaurants that will buy for this good woman if Davido decide to INVEST in her CAREER? Do you now see why it’s not REAL?” Uche Maduawagu said.
