During the second day of the hearing, it was declared that ASAP Rocky would face trial for reportedly shooting Ephron in the face during a skirmish, resulting in minor injuries. The rapper entered a plea of not guilty.
Rocky is presently charged with two counts of assault with a firearm, and if found guilty, he could confront a sentence of up to a decade behind bars.
The rapper and Ephron, both associated with A$AP Mob and acquainted since high school in New York, engaged in a dispute that led to the allegations.
In a separate grievance, Ephron asserts that ASAP Rocky took him to an undisclosed location outside the W Hotel in Hollywood on November 6, 2021, to resolve a conflict. He also alleges negligence, emotional distress, assault, and violence.
Circulating CCTV footage of the incident includes witnesses claiming to observe Rakim brandishing a gun and discharging it.
Nevertheless, ASAP Rocky’s legal team refutes the assertion that he is the individual depicted in the video.
