Street-pop musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, known to fans as Portable, has once again sparked controversy in the Nigerian Entertainment News scene — this time for his scathing remarks aimed at Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo after she made her marital separation public
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Biola, who also hosts star interviews on her podcast Talk To B, surprised her followers by announcing that she and her spouse had been living apart since April 2024.
In a touching Instagram post dedicated to her estranged husband on his birthday, Biola candidly confirmed the split, highlighting their unwavering decision to co-parent their son in harmony.
She wrote:
“Yes, it’s true! My husband and I have been apart since April last year. But we’ve decided to raise our cherished son together in a mature and peaceful way.”
Despite the dignified manner of her revelation, Portable, known for his contentious antics, couldn’t resist taking a jab. In a trending Instagram video, the singer taunted her, saying:
“You’re divorced but still hosting interviews with other people’s wives? Meanwhile, your own house isn’t in order. Life is indeed full of drama.”
Biola and her ex-husband tied the knot in April 2021 after a whirlwind courtship of less than half a year. She had previously mentioned in a YouTube video that their quick marriage was built on shared principles and mutual respect.
