Ossai Ovie Success, the Special Assistant on Media to the Governor of Delta State, has taken a swipe at well-known Nigerian singer Asake — also known as Ololade Mr. Money — for adopting a heavily Westernized appearance, including newly revealed tattoos and a distinct hairstyle

Recently, the former YBNL Nation signee showcased body art that covers significant portions of his face and torso, drawing mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.

Reacting in a Facebook post, Ossai expressed strong disapproval, accusing the music star of abandoning his African heritage in favor of foreign trends. He alleged that Asake has strayed far from the roots and values that once shaped his rise to fame.

In his post, Ossai remarked, “Asake is displaying signs of disfigurement, and I find his actions deeply disappointing. He was once a struggling young man whom God elevated from hardship to stardom. But now, after relocating abroad, he has covered himself in tattoos and appears to be acting arrogantly.”

He further questioned Asake’s choices, stating, “I don’t understand what he’s trying to achieve with all these markings. Is it a cry for help or a symptom of an identity crisis? Many people who take this path often end up unhappy and disillusioned.”

Ossai concluded by saying, “This is why some individuals are not blessed with success early, because God knows they may misuse it. Clearly, Asake is facing isolation at the peak of his career. I must say, I’m truly let down.”
