As reported by Legit.ng, on Tuesday, December 9, a court transferred ownership of Plot 81, Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 11, Abuja — the site of Cubana Lounge — to its legitimate proprietor, Mr. Collins Onwuzulike.
The eviction was carried out despite earlier pushback, with judicial officers and police personnel present to implement the court’s directive.
A clip that rapidly spread across social media showed the moment sheriffs and security operatives entered the lounge to repossess the premises, igniting widespread chatter and assumptions that Obi Cubana might be facing monetary setbacks.
Reacting to the circulating claims, the nightlife mogul used his verified Instagram page on Thursday, December 11, to speak on the matter. Posting a video of himself smiling and relaxed, Cubana assured fans that he would provide full clarification.
“At this point, I need to address ALL issues here on IG & Facebook Live at 8 PM Nigerian time! Join me,” he captioned the video.
