In recent Nigerian Entertainment News, the renowned musician Blackface created a buzz with his comments regarding Rema’s demeanor and the potential influence of his lyrics on the younger generation

During a recent appearance on the ‘Honest Bunch podcast’, Blackface expressed his reservations about the prospect of his daughter marrying a rising star like Rema, citing the singer’s perceived absence of ethics.

During the conversation, Blackface took the opportunity to underscore the moral virtues he believes are lacking in some contemporary artists.

He used Rema and his lyrical content as a case in point, referencing a line from Rema’s track “Charm,” in which the singer confidently proclaims, “I get money pass your papa”

The musician ultimately concluded that he couldn’t fathom his daughter bringing a man into their household who would make such a statement.

Blackface’s statements underscore his concerns about Rema’s character and the potential repercussions of such lyrics on the younger generation.

According to Blackface, artists should uphold particular moral standards, as the songs they produce often reflect their true nature.

He contends that Rema’s lyrics manifest a deficiency in respect and humility, qualities he would anticipate in someone who might one day become part of his family through his daughter.

This declaration by Blackface has ignited a fervent discussion among fans, music aficionados, and the general public.
