Nigerian Entertainment News: Influencer Offers Profound Apology for Fabricating Allegations Against Peruzzi Regarding an Alleged Romance with Chioma, Davido’s Spouse
A social media figure has publicly expressed regret for fabricating a tweet purporting to be from the notable musician Peruzzi, suggesting a romantic involvement with Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Grammy-nominated artist Davido
Under the alias @belikebaddy, a user on the microblogging platform X concocted a false statement attributed to Peruzzi, insinuating a relationship between him and Davido’s spouse.
Presenting himself as a former member of DMW Records, the individual claimed to have engaged in infidelity with Chioma Adeleke, leading to Davido severing ties with him.
Furthermore, he asserted responsibility for Davido’s catalogue of successful songs, insinuating that without his contributions, Davido’s career would not have flourished.
In an initial tweet, the individual wrote:
“We used to be so close, but because you hear say I Dey pipe your wife you start to give me attitude I don leave your circle sha. Ungrateful Nigga like say if I no write your songs, you for blow.”
The public apology, however, followed about 24 hours later supposedly after being reached out to by the legal teams of Peruzzi.
“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involves Peruzzi and Davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions and I promise it will never happen again. My apologies to DMW management,” he wrote in a new post.
