Legendary Nigerian artiste 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) has spoken out concerning the intense public reactions and widespread media chatter about his ongoing marital issues with his wife, Natasha Osawuru, firmly dismissing claims that he authored the recent “Help me” post on his Instagram account
The award-winning singer also faulted the tone of the public conversations, noting that it is exposing his wife to unnecessary danger.
After days of silence amid circulating videos and numerous appeals from his family members and former handler, 2Baba issued a formal statement aimed at reducing the mounting online controversy.
He clarified that the alarming message did not originate from him and emphasized that matters relating to his marriage would be handled discreetly.
2Baba stated:
“This issue is getting out of hand, and you people are putting Natasha on risk. I’m perfectly okay. Someone else posted that on my IG; I’m not the one who posted it. Families do have issues, but we will definitely resolve everything.”
His remarks confirm that his household is navigating private challenges, but he reiterated that he is “perfectly okay.”
2Baba’s major concern appears to be the protection and welfare of his wife, Natasha, who is currently under heavy public pressure and has been summoned by the Edo State House of Assembly over the trending video of their confrontation.
