The situation surrounding Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has intensified as her brother, Sammy West, publicly defended the actress following new accusations
Reports indicate that during an event organized by the Kay Hikers Club in Abuja, Nwoko claimed that Regina allegedly consumed alcohol and drugs in a hotel they lodged in. He further stated that there was police documentation to back his claims.
“Regina had drinks and drugs in this particular hotel. We have police evidence. She even used her cars to block the hotel entrance and called me to involve the Commissioner of Police so that no one could leave,” the senator reportedly said.
Responding shortly after being released from detention, Sammy West shared his own account on Legit.ng’s Instagram page.
According to him, Regina was receiving medical care at the hotel due to swelling in her legs and back, which he said resulted from treatment arranged by Nwoko. Sammy further alleged that Nwoko traced Regina to the location and physically confronted her at the reception before leaving without any immediate consequences.
He added that Regina later returned home and insisted that the hotel be held responsible for allowing such an incident to happen.
“Now let me reply to this! Regina’s doctor came to the hotel because of her swollen legs and bum caused by the doctor Ned hired. On the doctor’s arrival, her divorced husband traced her to the hotel and beat her up right at the reception of the hotel. When we knew of it, before we could rush down, the hotel let the man walk out freely! And with the policemen stationed there, all said it’s a husband-and-wife issue. Then she went home to tell this narcissist about what happened, and the hotel had to be held accountable for watching a man beat up a woman. But obviously, he wouldn’t make any moves because he was probably planning to beat her, which he then did.”
