In trending Nigerian Entertainment News, Tonya Granberry, mother of American hip-hop artist DDG, has finally addressed the disturbing allegations made by his former partner, Halle Bailey

Halle Bailey was recently granted a court-issued protective order against DDG, which legally mandates him to maintain a distance of no less than 100 yards from both her and their child, Halo.

The claims levelled against DDG include reports of physical assault, unlawful access to Halle’s residence, and persistent harassment.

The duo had previously confirmed the end of their relationship in October 2023 through a social media post by DDG. Since then, fans and observers have closely followed the unfolding drama between the ex-couple.

Taking to Instagram, Tonya Granberry offered her perspective, asserting that despite the flood of criticism and public scrutiny, she has remained strong. She revealed that the increasing wave of allegations compelled her to break her silence and speak up for the first time.

Her statement read:

“I don’t usually comment or say anything on this Internet even with all this negativity, the lies, hatred against mine. However, these accusations have made me realize that I’ve been quiet too long”.

Tonya’s remarks clearly conveyed her resilience amid the controversy, standing solidly behind her son while the public continues to dissect the complexities of DDG’s former relationship with Halle Bailey.
