‘At 17’ has taken over social media discussions on X (formerly Twitter) after Nollywood actress Regina Danielsdisclosed that she was just 17 years old when she got married to businessman and politician Ned Nwoko, questioning if she was “doing drugs” at that time as he recently alleged
Regina revealed in an emotional post that she had placed complete trust in Ned, even sharing her “s£x tape” with him during their marriage. Her revelation comes shortly after Ned accused her, her siblings, and her close friends of being drug users.
Firing back at the allegations, Regina challenged Ned to publicly declare whether she was involved in drug use when he married her at 17. She also implied that he might have influenced her into such habits.
Regina wrote:
“Yes Everyone! It is now in history that “REGINA DANIELS” did drugs because that was what her husband wanted believe it or not.
Dearest ex husband thanks for breaking the crown you put on my head. No one knew us like us and I trusted you with all of me even with my sextape which I pray never sees the light. but you have always been a step ahead negatively.
Foolish me! When I married you at 17, was I on drugs? I thank God for time. My name is ruined for now but I will rewrite my story! That narrative will be dead and gone.
Now that I have let the one thing you have on me out, what else? It’s time to fight with all of me in court! I’m not backing down now you narcissistic manipulative bastard!

Although Regina has kept her actual age vague over the years, she mentioned last week during her public feud with Ned that she is currently 24. Today, she insists she was only 17 when she got married.
The couple tied the knot in May 2019, and with Regina’s October 10 birthday, if she indeed turned 24 in 2025, that means she hadn’t turned 18 when the wedding took place.
However, this contradicts her mother Rita Daniels’ previous statement in a 2020 BBC interview, where she claimed Regina was to turn 20 in October 2020, which would make her 18 at the time of marriage and 25 now.
This conflicting timeline has sparked widespread debate online, with fans questioning the truth about her real age. As discussions intensify, the phrase ‘At 17’ continues to dominate social media trends.
