The “Gone For Good” artist mentioned that she was unaware of Adekunle Gold’s artistic pursuits until they coincidentally crossed paths at an event, finding it peculiar.
The one-time mother disclosed on the latest installment of the program “Tea with Tay,” hosted by media personality Taymesan, that she had pledged never to wed an artist.
Surprisingly, she wasn’t aware of her boyfriend’s musical inclinations during their courtship.
Simi shared details about their journey, stating that Adekunle Gold initially approached her as a fan.
Despite not realizing he was a musician initially, she admitted to dating the “Five Star” crooner because of his amiable personality.
“When I first met my husband, I didn’t know he was singing because me I already said I cannot marry a singer. I didn’t know he was singing, I think he was even a fan,”
Simi said.
