Burna Boy Rewrites History And Becomes The First African Artist To Achieve This

Singer Burna Boy has set a new record with his solo songs in the US as he became the first and only African artist to achieve this.

Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Burna Boy has set a new record as he became the first and only African artist to be certified platinum with his solo songs by the RIAA in the US. This simply means two of Burna Boy’s solo songs have sold over a million units in the US alone.

The singer unlocked this recent achievement with his lead single of his fifth studio album ‘Love Damini’ titled ‘Last Last’ which received its platinum certification by the RIAA in the US on the 7th of March 2023.

Burna Boy has now unlocked this achievement with the smashing hit ‘Ye’ and ‘Last Last.’
