Musician Machine Gun Kelly made headlines at the Las Vegas Formula 1 event after cracking a playful onstage joke about his private life — just as speculation increased that he and actress Megan Fox might be rebuilding their relationship
Fox, 39, and MGK, 35, reportedly broke up in November 2024 after she learned he had been communicating with other women. At the time, she was expecting their daughter, Saga Blade, who arrived in March.
According to reports from Daily Mail, sources say Fox has been pleased with “how he’s stepped up for both her and the baby,” leading to growing talk that the two may be getting close again.
While performing at the F1 show on Friday, MGK teased the audience with a humorous comparison, joking that he performs with speed and endurance similar to a race car driver.
Late last month, a source told People that MGK has been spending most nights at Fox’s home, helping care for their newborn. Although they behave like a couple, they have not confirmed any official reunion.
“Megan’s very happy with how he’s stepped up for both her and the baby,” the insider explained. “They still maintain separate residences, but they spend a great deal of time together as a family. Putting their daughter first has helped bring them closer.”
The source added that MGK has been wonderful with the baby, and Fox enjoys sharing family time with him.
MGK previously spoke about how much baby Saga resembles her mother during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. He praised Fox as a “phenomenal mom” and described her as “the greatest partner to have had a child with.”
He also talked about the meaning behind their daughter’s name, sharing that Saga is inspired by a Norwegian goddess and represents an “epic story.”
The pair welcomed their daughter in March, months after ending their romantic relationship, and have been co-parenting since then.
MGK has occasionally shared glimpses of Saga online, including a video of her tiny hand holding his finger. He also joked in an interview that Fox deserves most of the recognition for the hard work of childcare.
Although their bond remains strong, earlier reports suggested Fox was not looking for a romantic future at the moment. A source told Us Weekly that she is focused on motherhood and is “in heaven with her baby girl,” even though she appreciates MGK’s involvement.
Saga currently lives with Fox, while MGK reportedly stays over a few nights each week to support in caring for their daughter.
Outside of family matters, MGK recently dropped his seventh studio project, Lost Americana. He also shared with People that he no longer allows negativity directed at him to bother him.
“The hate for me has become so pop culture that it’s almost automatic,” he said. “I’ve let it go completely… all I do is entertain, and entertainment can’t be that serious.”
