In the latest American Entertainment News, Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Nas X has entered a not guilty plea to four felony accusations stemming from an alleged confrontation with law enforcement
According to authorities, the rapper was reportedly found roaming the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear when officers approached him. He is accused of attacking the responding officers during the incident.
During a court hearing on Monday, August 25, a Los Angeles judge determined Lil Nas X’s bail would be set at $75,000. Additionally, the court ordered the “Old Town Road” hitmaker to participate in Narcotics Anonymous sessions.
Law enforcement officials suspect that drug use may have played a role in the incident. However, Lil Nas X’s lawyer, Christy O’Connor, stated that her client was not under the influence of any illicit substances and characterized the occurrence as an isolated event.
The charges include three counts of assault on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest.
