Nigerian Entertainment News: VeryDarkMan Replies Isaac Fayose’s ₦10m Offer for His Dream Ride
Popular online personality Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, created a buzz on social media on Sunday, September 14, after uploading a series of snapshots featuring him with a vintage 1995 Hummer pickup truck
The bold and often controversial commentator—who recently made waves for confronting the EFCC—described the photo session as a personal achievement.
Referring to the Hummer as his ultimate dream vehicle, he playfully appealed to his ancestors to help turn the dream into reality.
“At last, I got to pose with my dream ride. Ancestors, abeg show up for me fast,” he captioned the post.
The post generated significant online attention, including a notable reaction from media influencer Isaac Fayose, who suggested launching a public donation campaign to buy the truck for VeryDarkMan.
Fayose went further, promising to kickstart the campaign with a generous ₦10 million contribution, declaring that the social critic truly deserved the gift for his forthcoming birthday.
“Let’s get this Hummer truck for @verydarkblackman as a birthday present. He’s earned it. Who’s joining in? I’m pledging 10 million,” Fayose stated.
In a follow-up message, VeryDarkMan warmly acknowledged the gesture and revealed that if the campaign were to succeed, he would instead sell the vehicle and give the money to charity.
“EGBON, if una raise money buy am for me, I go sell am use the cash help people ooooooo… 10 million naira though, egbon haaaaaa. I appreciate the love, but make una no contribute. GOD BLESS THE RATEL MOVEMENT,” he responded.
