Nigerian Entertainment News: VeryDarkMan Fires Back at Blord Once More, Raises New Accusations Over Alleged Scam on Billpoint Platform

Nigerian activist and digital personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has once again launched an attack on crypto investor Linus Williams Ifejika, better known as Blord

VDM has leveled fresh allegations against Blord, claiming that his fintech venture, Billpoint, is at the center of a well-orchestrated online fraud.

It’s worth noting that Blord faced arrest in 2024 over claims of crypto-related deception and ties to terrorism financing. Though he regained his freedom, controversy around his brand has remained constant.

In a video shared on Instagram on October 16, 2025, VDM alleged that the Billpoint app—which promotes itself as a platform offering cheap airtime and data—is in fact harvesting users’ confidential data, including BVN, NIN, and mobile numbers, which he asserts are being misused for illicit dealings and financial crimes.

VDM also took a swipe at various social media influencers flaunting luxury, hinting that many of them derive their wealth through suspicious channels rather than authentic labor. He stated:

“You see why I speak to most of them however I like? I know what most of them do and how they maintain these appearances. It’s all showbiz. Don’t pressure yourself, most of them didn’t get here through hard work. You’d understand when you have access to information. This is why I always boast with integrity it frustrates them.”

This latest clip adds more fuel to the already heated back-and-forth between VDM and Blord, a conflict that originally took off after Blord introduced a customized iPhone 17 Pro to the Nigerian market.
