Popular Nigerian artist Reekado Banks has stirred online conversations with a cryptic message that many fans believe is directed at fellow superstar Burna Boy

Burna Boy recently took to social media to comment on the reception of his new album, No Sign of Weakness, stating that the diversity in fans’ favorite tracks proves the body of work is a proper album, not just a glorified single. “An album is NOT a single,” Burna Boy emphasized.

Not long after, Reekado Banks posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Shey tracks for album suppose sound the same before ni? The bar is in hell,” a statement that fans interpreted as a veiled response to Burna’s remarks, hinting that the latter’s statement may have been overly self-congratulatory.

The post has since sparked widespread speculation and debate in the Nigerian Entertainment News scene, with fans divided over whether Reekado’s tweet was a direct dig at Burna Boy or just a general critique of the industry.
